Was sold a pack of Black & White Polaroid SX-70 film that expired over two years ago as if it was new - no word of warning about the production/expiration date, and charged full price. The expired film was also not being stored in a fridge. As a result, the chemistry of the film was completely degraded. Produced some fun effects on the few photos that did end up developing, but not at all what I was expecting or paying for.

The store clerk was perfectly nice otherwise - with that said, I’m likely not going to buy film here again, and would recommend others check production and expiration dates before buying “new” film stock.

Extremely SLOW Service! I purchased from them because their website says, "All online orders received before 4:00 pm EST are shipped the same day unless there are any issues processing your credit card." Well, there weren't issues with my card because they received my money the day I placed my order. Four days later, I asked where my tracking number was, and they hadn't even shipped my order yet! I asked to cancel my order and for a refund and they said they would process it, and still nothing. I am really unhappy with my experience and will not be purchasing anything from them again.

Do not order from here. Ordered a yellow backdrop, gave specific dimensions. Took 10 days to arrive (shipping within NYC takes at most 2 days) shipped from ARIZONA from Amazon, which we weren't told about. Came in baby blue, completely wrong dimensions, even when the order receipt reads what we originally ordered. Cost us to postpone a scheduled date another week or so. Go to the other recommended stores, spend the money, it's guaranteed.

I bought something on their website. They claim that they provide quick delivery service but they don’t.

I placed my order on Saturday and waited until Wednesday to find out they still didn’t ship my order. I emailed them and was told to provide some irrelevant information, such as whether I’m from Taiwan or not. I called and they didn’t try to help on the phone. They just asked me to wait for the email reply. And again, they asked some nonsense questions, such as where the recipient lived before. What on earth does it have to do with my simple online order? And if they really need this information, why didn’t they email me at the first time?

It’s Friday now and I still didn’t get any feedback. They charged me already but I don’t know where my purchase is now. It seems like they just ignored my order until I emailed them. Im not sure if it’s an Asian unfriendly shop. I feel very disappointed since I saw lots of comments online saying how friendly the sales are in the store but it’s different from what I got on my phone call.

Also, don’t trust its quick delivery service. It does not exist.

These guys are seriously the best. Was desperately trying to track down some Portra 400 during what seems like a worldwide shortage and these guys totally came through for me. Super fast and helpful customer service when there was an error with my online order. They set aside the last boxes of film they had left and stayed open past their closing time today for me to pick it up in person. Saved the day, saved the shoot. Eternally grateful. Support local!! BUY YOUR FILM & EQ HERE!!!

As a film photographer, it is important to me to get good film at the best price in a timely manner. That's what I got with my first order from The Imaging World, and I am very pleased! Sometimes I am skeptical of the stores with the lowest price, but I'm glad I tried this one out. I definitely plan to make it my go-to store for film orders.

I purchased an Alesis Recital Pro from them on eBay. They created a shipping label a day after the sale. I just got off of the phone with them because today was the delivery date. The sales associate said the keyboard was on backorder and won’t be available for weeks. Now I have to go through eBay and wait an additional week to get my money back. I wish they were honest from the get go and refunded me immediately instead of creating a shipping label on FedEx to buy time. AVOID The Imaging World on eBay! They don’t respond via the eBay messaging center at all!!!! I’m reporting them to eBay!

I searched for a product and their site came up and said it was in stock so I ordered. A week later I still hadn't received shipping information so I tried to call and they were closed for a week for Passover which wasn't listed anywhere on their site. When they opened back up I have them a couple of days to ship and still got nothing so I called again and was told that they didn't have it so they'd be cancelling the order. I started to stay that the website said it was in stock when I ordered but the guy cut me off and said "Yeah, I don't know anything about that. I'll cancel the order." If you actually want what you order don't order from here.
