I rolled the dice and drove 6 hours from Pittsburgh to have these guys replace the shutter in my Sony A7IV which stopped working days before a gig. I needed it in a pinch and could not wait on shipping times.
Shocked not only honored their word and got the job done fast in a few hours, but they were professional, kind, and clearly experts at what they do. They even recommended going down to Industry City for a bite to eat while I waited where I was able to find parking and grab an awesome burger! Glad I made the drive and I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Wow! My Canon 5D MK IV and 70-200mm lens were both having issues and Shocked got everything sorted out in very short order. Really good price (about 30-40% less than I was expecting to pay) and both friendly and professional. In my experience (30 years in NYC), it's getting harder and harder to find places who do great work who are trustworthy and so I was thrilled to find them.

Very impressed.
Went to have a Nikon DSLR cleaned along with a Nikkor lens. I got a very fair price before the work was started and it was done very well for cleaning the camera body. The lens was too old for repair and they told me upfront.
I will going back in the future.

I would give them 10 stars if possible. My camera stop working because of rain damage and looked for camera repair shop everywhere but couldn't find reliable place to fix it. Called Canon but they ask me to ship it at own risk somewhere in midwest. I gave up on an idea of fixing Canon Rebel 6i until I found Shocked Electronics on the web. To my surprise they were located in my own neighborhood and I didn't even know. I must have passed from their shop at least twice a day everyday. Called them yesterday twice but no response. In few minutes, got call back from Andrew that he was on second line and he'd be happy to look into my camera. I took my camera today and they were able to fix it in less than hour. They accept credit or debit card and 30 days guarantee on their work. They produced proper transaction and gave me receipt of my payment. Very professional at work. I would recommend this business if anyone looking to fix their camera. Give them a chance to serve you.
