I went to Persnickety on Friday noon with a rush order for 7 enlarged photos to be printed and mounted on black foam core for a wedding reception Saturday afternoon (the next day). The pictures were actually ready by closing time Friday. The quality of the pictures was terrific. I highly recommend this company for quality and speed.

So glad I found Persnickety Prints. I am a big scrapbooker, and I love that I can crop my photos and have them printed in a variety of sizes….sometimes 4x6 doesn’t always work. I have also used their press prints, collages and film strip options to make unique layouts. Easy to upload your photos, order on line and quick delivery.

The prints were PERFECT! The quality was great, good weight, crisp colors and not to mention it was done so quickly! Finally have my little family wall. These were 12x12 photos. I will only order photos from here now thank you!

Gave Persnickety a try after seeing online reviews and instagram posts about how great they were.
The shop is further from my house than I’d like to order from and a bit more on the pricy side, but it seems like every other shop struggles to get orders right on the first go, and I wanted a place that could get it done right the first time!
I placed an order online for 10 prints, all mounted on foam core. Two of the prints I ordered were on the large format printing they showcase, the others were the regular print size. I was excited when I received the notification that my prints were ready a day earlier than promised! I went the next day to pick them up (the day they were scheduled to be done, as this worked with my schedule).
I entered the shop, and was a little nervous when the attendant had a some trouble finding my order, but nothing major.
My photos were in a stack of bagged orders on the floor behind the register. I didn’t feel like having to search for my order and finding it on the floor was the white glove experience I anticipated, but it’s not a deal breaker. Feedback: Investing in a shelf with compartments where orders are organized neatly would make me feel like my order was more valued!
The attendant handed me the order and I was confused why it was so thin. It was not thick enough for 10 photos on foam core.
I checked my order, thinking I must not have entered it right online. Reviewing the order, it confirmed: 10 foam core photos. The two large photos were on foam core, and they really did look nice. The 8 other regular size images were not on foam core, they were just prints. Not the attention to detail I was expecting after reading the positive reviews and website propaganda from the company.
Thankfully the shop agreed to have the pictures mounted on foam core, but the pictures would not be ready until the next day. They promised to overnight the 8 pictures to me after they were done, since I live far away and couldn’t make it back to the shop before I needed the photos. I took the two large foam core backed images and crossed my fingers for the other 8. They did arrive as promised, overnight and Persnickety communicated the tracking number when shipped, which I really appreciate.
Seven of the eight pictures were printed right and all of the foam core mounting craftsmanship was quality work.
But one of the pictures has some kind of printing banding stripes on both sides of the print. This is not what I was hoping from a shop that claims to deliver higher quality than the other print shops. I paid more for prints than I would have an other shops, and I traveled extra time and miles because I needed my photos done right and on time for my deadline.
I am concerned that at several opportunities to complete a quality review of my order, no one caught that 8 pictures were missing foam core backing. Furthermore, that in production and packaging the order TWICE, that no one cared to notice the printer fail with banding on both sides of one of the images. It seems if a shop promises quality delivery, they would need to have good quality check points in production to stop these seemingly simple, but relationship ending errors.
Because of my experience with other print shops I gave a few days of slush in my order time for an error, but I didn’t allow enough time for TWO errors!
Since I was now at my deadline, I submitted my ten photos: 9 good photos along with the 1 printing error photo to the photo competition I needed them for.
Now that the show is over I’m planning on sending the errored print in for a redo. Looks like I have 60 days to submit my replacement request.
In conclusion, I’m disappointed with my overall experience. True I got 2 pictures back on time, and 7 of the 8 others by the time needed with good quality, why it’s not a 1 star review. BUT, It’s the errors, delays, and the final delivery of the 1 banded photo that has made my 1st order with Persnickety my ONLY order with Persnickety; because I can get this same level of performance at any print shop closer to my home, and at a lower price.

Had an art show this past weekend and needed prints 3 days prior to the event. Putting in an order was so easy and there were a TON of different options for what I wanted. It was pretty affordable too. I was nervous about the prints being done on time (I’ve been burned before). They got my prints done a day EARLY!!! Better yet, they were packaged very cutely when I picked them up. Very, very pleased with the results and speed. I’ve already recommended this place to a few other Art friends and am hoping to use this place for all my art needs in the future.

I had them print a couple posters and table numbers for my wedding and the quality was stunning! Not sure who I spoke to on the phone but they were very well informed on their product and what type of format/product I should do to get the best results for my poster. I could not be happier with the product and would recommend going for high quality prints.

Persnickety Prints is hands down THE BEST. I've ordered many art prints from them for my small business and they have been AMAZING. The prints are top quality, turn around and shipping has always been fast, and best of all, their customer service is 10/5 stars. They have worked with me multiple times to sort out messy aspect ratios and get the white borders just how I want them, and if a print showed up and didn't look how I want, they immediately reprinted it and shipped it without charging me again. Being able to talk to a real person on the phone who is passionate about producing prints to be just how I want them has been invaluable. I can't recommend them highly enough!
