Multiple times now I've done a last minute order with questions, and the team was happy to help me out and knowledgeable. The people at the pickup locations, especially Logen, are wonderful to work with and have lent their time and knowledge to help me out. They've gotten my orders shipped overnight and last minute perfectly packed and on time. Thank you so much for your service, I'll be looking forward to doing more projects!

I purchased a camcorder from Lensrentals during the Black Friday weekend. Having never purchased from them before I wasn't quite sure what to expect. When the camera arrived I was very impressed by how well it had been packaged in the box and that it even came in a very high quality camera bag inside the shipping box. The next day I received an email regarding the Black Friday sale that I had sadly missed out on. Out of curiosity I called them up to see if they would honor the Black Friday discount and sure enough they did! The customer service I received from these folks was absolutely top notch!

As far as the camera I ordered: the condition it came in was so good that I could have sworn it was brand new. I am so pleased with my experience with Lensrentals and will certainly put them on my short list when looking for good production gear.

The Lensrentals team is awesome! I have run a video production company for over 3 years and we've put in over 30 + orders with them over the years .

Their customer service is A+, their tech assistants are the best, and they really do strive to make our jobs as filmmakers as easy as possible.

Even when Fedex botches the shipping, the Lensrentals team takes it upon themselves to try and track the gear down, and if they can't get it in on time they take responsibility for something they don't have any control over.

The other day I accidentally booked a large rental cart to arrive two weeks before the start of the actual shoot, and even though the gear had shipped, they offered me a full refund.

If all businesses had the same customer support, company culture and integrity as the Lensrentals team, than the world would be in a much better place.

This company is awesome. The kindest customer service. Everyone I spoke to was so lovely and helpful. Had issues with a couple things we got and they were quick to get everything resolved for us. They make shipping everything back easy too. Their rates are solid and it was a lifesaver being able to ship over quality gear to film in a small town with no resources for that.

I've rented equipment from Lens Rentals about 5 times now, mostly because it's the most convenient. Which has proven to burn me. Only 2/5 of the orders have arrived on time when scheduled to do so. The other 3 have gotten delayed and arrived on the day my rental period ended, in this case, I needed equipment for a wedding and I am pretty much out of luck thanks to lensrentals. Even if you scheduled delivery to happen 3 days before when You need it you can still get burnt! Go somewhere else if you can!

A recent anecdote I want to mention:
I put in a rental order that was to arrive in Baltimore on a Tuesday, not realizing the "pickup in Memphis" box was checked. Not only did a Lens Rentals rep catch that, but she reached out to me to confirm that I needed it in Baltimore. Over the next few hours, I communicated on phone & email with a few reps, who adjusted the order form, and picked & shipped it in time to get it here two days before I absolutely needed it.

Allstars. So impressed and really grateful for this company making it possible for me to grow my business and grow as an artist with as little friction as possible.

Disappointing Experience with High-End Hasselblad Camera Rental

I recently rented a high-end Hasselblad camera (X2D), expecting top-notch performance. Unfortunately, the LCD touch screen did not function as advertised. As seen clearly in the attached video, the touch screen was unresponsive and difficult to use not responding unless you articulated the screen. After this experience, I bought a new Hasselblad, and the difference in screen response is night and day. Just fyi and i told Lensrentals as well.

Additionally, the lens hood was damaged and would not fit on the lens included in the rental. Lensrentals advised me to send the camera back early, but offered no refund or credit for the inconvenience. Overall, I am very disappointed with the service and lack of compensation.

I have rented from them before and always had a good experience. But this time it is very disappointing. I spent my hard earned money, did what they said after having issues (sent the camera back) and they offer nothing. Very very poor service.
