I'm a local but living out of town, but wanted to stop by and check out the camera shop, as I've recently gotten into the hobby. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they showed us the latest in Nikon and Canon camera bodies and lenses. They still sell film and second hand cameras, so I picked up some film. Given their expertise, I'd love to buy a used Nikon F-series if one comes in.

By the way, the first image below is a film scan from a roll of Portra 400 in my '80s point and shoot. The second is digital.

Went in for the first time today! Customer service was excellent. I had zero issues with any of the staff. They spent almost an hour with me going thru various lenses and helped me decide which one was best for my needs. Absolutely would go back. Prices were reasonable too.

My sister and I have quite a bit of vintage photo equipment: movie cameras, double slide cameras, etc. that we found when emptying our parents home. We brought them in to this shop. A young man behind the counter was helping us. He was so knowledgeable we were very impressed. We were interested in selling this equipment. That's when the "owner" jumped in. She, quite rudely, diminished the young man "he doesn't even work here" & told us she didn't have time for us & we'd have to come back...I'm sure we won't!

I been here several times now and made purchases. Lydia, the owner is so knowledgeable and not in a hurry to answer every question that you might have. Their not out to sell the most expensive item but . . . What what fits your needs and price. My fiancée just purchased from here a new Nikon coolpix P950. They took time to compare Canon to Nikon and we tried both cameras out. A very price competitive business. This will definitely be our go to camera store thank you Johnson Camera!

I picked up a used canon 90D DSLR here that they had on consignment. The woman who wanted it was asking for far too much considering the shutter count - so I made a low ball offer me they told the lady straight up- hey someone wants to buy this finally- take the offer and they gave me a sweet deal on an old lens too but man - this camera has really reminded me how much I love taking photographs. Thanks for reigniting the fire for me

Super helpful. They were able to help with a last minute pit stop for some ND filters and glasses for the eclipse. Super cheery and pleasant. Definitely worth stoping by if you need any camera gear. I was eyeing up some of the very cool telescopes!

This is a photo of my home on Christmas night. My husband and I, our son and daughter, and one dog escaped. We've been married almost 20 years, and there was nothing left but 4 feet of ashes in the basement. I don't know how she did it, but my daughter found the negatives from my wedding and brought them to you. The work you were able to do, and pictures you developed was nothing short of a miracle. It made my heart a little less broken. Thank you! ?

Lydia and the team there are fantastic people to work with. Due to unexpected circumstances of my grandmother passing, I needed a photo enlarged for the services. I needed it somewhat to be expedited but also know there is going to be other customers orders ahead of me. They took care of me with a sense of urgency and I appreciate it greatly. The quality of the photo was excellent and took care of the blemishes from the original photo. I have been going back for more photos and will continue to do business with them for all my photo needs. Thank you guys!
