I am so in awe by the personal service Campus Camera gives their clients. I went there last Friday after speaking with them over the phone. I needed my camera's cleaned and updated. They just weren't taking sharp photos anymore. Bearded Dan took his time and cleaned every camera, I took three.He never stopped smiling and chit chatting with me. He then reset the cameras, programmed them to my needs as I told him what I need them to do. I needed a new flash for my Canon's, he listened to my needs then suggested the one that would be right for me. I went to a convention Saturday and Sunday, those camera's took awesome photos. Everything was perfect. Listen folks. Don't buy online. Go to campus camera, get great product and service at a good price. I will never buy camera supplies on amazon again. Dan and Dan have won my loyalty. Thank you both. And the orange was great.

If you're looking to get your film developed here, don't. I understand things happen and machines go down, but leaving customers questioning when they'll receive their film is just not right. I dropped off film SIX WEEKS ago and was never contacted about a delay because their scanner went down. I called around week 3 and was told "oh the part should be here any day now and we'll have your film done". Okay perfect no problem. Then I waited and waited. Called again at week 5 and was told the exact same thing. Well at week 6 on the dot l decided to go in the store to check the status of my film. When I walked in they said "oh the scanner part comes today!" Just like they've been saying for 3 whole weeks. During the entire month and a half wait, they never developed my film or contacted me to let me know there would be delays. If you want to run a business the right way, communicate with your paying customers. It is truly devastating to be promised so many times that things are getting done, but never are.

This store is not just for students and Kent Campus-related needs!!
I had been going back and forth on whether or not to buy a new camera body due to heavy use over several years and it being an older model. I was considering just renting a camera for an event for the previously stated reasons.
Dan communicated with me over the phone and in-store, took a closer look at my camera and encouraged its use for my upcoming event(s). He reset, cleaned and discussed settings, performance and lenses.

All-around just awesome guys, a store you could spend hours in just exploring and amazing and honest customer service. They're a great resource for purchase, rental, questions, recommendations, everything.

I honestly would give Campus Camera 10000+ stars if possible. My lens broke for my nikon and I have been distraught since it happened. Not only did Dan know exactly what I needed but he also spruced up my camera and gave me a few pointers while doing so. It was such a wonderful experience. Whenever I need something for my camera, I will go to campus camera. Not many businesses can last 81 years in today’s world, especially with big corps and online shopping; but campus camera has and I pray that they continue to thrive and survive. If you are in the area please stop and check them out. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Dan.

10 years ago or more I bought my D200 battery grip and 50mm f/1.8 lens there. It was nice to have a local camera store when I moved here, otherwise it was B&H. I bought my new camera and wanted a new bag. Stopped here and didn't think about it but the smell of mildew and mold took months to get out of the bag. I went there today only for a 67mm UV filter to keep my new lens protected, didn't think to check it until I left, after they said "oh we have one left!". The package was opened, there was a hair on the filter, no problem I figure people wanted to check it. The problem was the package said 67mm and the filter was 72mm and I didn't realize it until later. The place smells terrible and the people don't seem to understand the products they sell. I would like to see them as a local business thrive but I don't feel like anyone there gives a damn about photography.

Called and spoke with a gentleman about what I was looking for. He was very helpful, and when I went into the store he gave me very honest reviews and I ended up purchasing a great used lens. I spent less money than planned with better results! I’ll be back!

Would have been nice to know they don't develop black and white film before I drove the 40 mins to get there. Their website is pretty useless in that regard.

I stopped in on Saturday with a few different questions and a repair request. They were able to get the lens on my D750 fixed quickly and answered all of my questions. I found out that I could easily rent camera equipment and get a difficult problem with my camera body fixed as well. I was really happy with the whole experience and I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend stopping by!
