Not sure how anybody could 1 star this place. Been in many times with zero issues. Purchased an old FM that is perfect as well as a few lenses. Also did a refurbishment of my dad’s old FA. I drive from Denver just to come here.

I literally went in and wasn't even expecting to purchase anything initially, just browse. Then, the older man working persuaded me to snag these lens covers for $15 total. He then made me feel pressured into purchasing a lens cleaning kit, bringing my total up to $42. I am not a confrontational person at all, so saying "no" is hard for me. This is not the way to get business, or to keep a customer. I will quite literally never be coming back due to my absolutley nightmarish first experience. I just wanted to browse.

This place is great. The person who runs it is straightforward and a good guy. You will pay a little bit more than online, maybe the same depending on shipping. It’s worth it to support local business and be able to see the equipment. It’s also worth it to get stuff quickly and without worrying about issues when shipped.

I got a DSLR here 10 years ago and recently started coming back for a film photography class and it’s like the store hasn’t changed at all in 10 years, which is a good thing.

The best place for film photographers and digital demagogues. Only repair service in town. My old large format 120 cameras responded well to their ministrations.
If your just starting out in the analog film world this is the place to go. It's a fascinating hobby
They also have some (used) spare parts. A tripod I lent out & forgot about that came back damaged was able to be fixed thanks to Camers works. The price was reasonable too!

I came into the store for the first time about a month ago knowing nothing about cameras and Donovan and Reed both were there to help show me all the ins and outs of how to pick out a camera and use it , they also developed my film and I’m loving my photos the whole experience has been awesome !!

Cool shop . Good customer service . Was able to get a used replacement lens for my a6100 that was comparable priced to online. Lots of unique vintage gear In there. Good resource!

I had 2 cameras I didn’t know if they worked and I also have zero knowledge on cameras. The kind people of Cameraworks were awesome and took their time to go through both cameras and run tests. Good news 1 camera works, and the other is fixable. I hope to come back here again when I have any camera needs.
