Short story: they broke my lightmeter. I am pretty sure they did it because in the beginning when I talked with the owner, he said it works although might not be accurate( now it has a crack…). My friend help pick it up and she had no idea to take a look around the camera ( or take a closer picture ) before leaving the store. Now I am so afraid to go back to argue for a refund after seeing so many customers being threatened and yelled at from google reviews.

I went here today for advice on how to repair my camera and even though they were not able to do the repair themselves, Joseph and Brian were so helpful and suggested another business that might be able to fix it. I will definitely return next time I need a professional opinion.

Brought friends camera in due to shutter and meter issues.

Friend contacted me that she was unaware the battery fell out and both issues were probably because of no battery. I told them that the issue is probably just a missing battery and nothing is wrong with the camera.

They confirmed nothing was wrong, but insisted on charging me $95. I explained that the only thing they had to do was put a battery in and they brought it down to $65(shady).

Unfortunately I signed something that the inspection would cost $35-$65. Little did I know that they can jack it up to $65 for any kind of “inspection” including - putting a battery in the camera.

The fault was ours for not realizing the problem but they capitalized on that in such a terrible way. We basically brought it in for a problem, found the problem ourselves, and they charged us for it. Like I said, part of it is our fault but they definitely are not doing work in the customers best interest. Better off going somewhere else

Yes there was definitely fault on our end. But I emailed you right after I left explaining how we realized that all the problems we took it in for was probably the battery we didn’t realize that fell out. Yes $65 is super justifiable for tests such as “putting a battery in and taking a photo”. All the problems I described were fixed by simply putting a battery in.

You obviously felt somewhat bad since the initial price was $95 and lowered to $65 when you realized that the problem was simple. So thanks for that I guess but it shows how weak the pricing guidelines are.

And you guys ignored the email and explanations and charged us the big fee.

We made a mistake, and you guys capitalized without remorse so yeah I think I’m justified warning others about how little the customers matter to you

I walked in to have the guys see why my old camera wasn’t loading film, thinking that it was beyond repair. They were able to fix it and explained why it wouldn’t load. Fingers crossed that I won’t have to bring it back to fix it, but if I had to, I’ll definitely return. Kudos to having Whitney Houston playing too.

I brought in an Olympus Infinity Super Zoom 330 in to get it checked out. Even though it’s an uncommon camera, the people there were knowledgable about it and told me the film advance was broken. They were super helpful.

Would recommend to anyone starting out or with a broken camera!

I went to get my camera damage assessed and they were very helpful. They told me what needed to be done, how long it would take and the cost. I was traveling the following week so I didn’t leave my camera with them but I’ll definitely be back.

Went in for a body repair and cleaning of my mother's AE-1 Program. Camera came back looking and functioning brand new in only a couple weeks! Service price is fair, getting the quote was easy and straight forward, will definitely go back again when I'm in the city and need another camera serviced.
