So sad, I really liked this place and thought I found the space to start my journey with photography. Unfortunately, the old man - probably owner - showed disonesty and arrogance today (I guess older white men are always more arrogant and entitled with younger women, but that is not the point). Just two days ago I bought two polaroid film packs, but I wasn't sure about the camera and expressed a lot of insecurity about it. Still, I took it and later found out that I needed, in fact, polaroid go film. So, today I brought the film to exchange and they told me that there is a no change policy for film. This is fine, but I wonder why I wasn't advised about it before I spent my money (especially, if I was clearly insecure about the film). As a beginner photographer, I am not supposed to know this and the fact that they don't tell customers before a purchase is very shady. The owner told me that it is not their responsability to tell us that. Well, if there is a no return policy, it should be your responsability to inform clients. Or at least a gesture of kindness... It is not a rule to be kind, but makes every business better. Their lack of communication and capitalist mindset made another student spend money unecessarily. Well, they lost a weekly customer and the friends that I just recommended the place.

This place is the answer to my prayers! So helpful! They figured out what was wrong with my camera when no one else could. It was easy for them. I will definitely be going back anytime I have an issue with my camera. Art is my hero!

They are closed Monday and Sundays now. Their new hours are not posted on Google maps, just a heads up! Thankfully film drop off is still available via box.

I've been doing business here for more than 20 years. It's a real camera and film store. When I used to shoot on slide film they serviced all my film amd lense needs. I like this sypre b/c there aren't a lot of places any more whete the art and science of real film photography is embraced. Plus, it helps that these guys really know their stuff.

Came in to get help with a new camera strap I had installed myself (the straps were too long) and the very friendly gentleman at the front desk helped me with no hesitation and even gave me some suggestions how to secure the straps better. Didn’t charge me a cent. Definitely would come back again if I ever have camera issues or questions in the future!

A cool little photo store in the valley. The carry a healthy selection of used film cameras, as well as equipment for lighting, developing chemicals, as well as color and black-and-white film 435 mm, 120, and even Polaroid formats. The staff there is uniformly friendly, and always willing to help you find whatever it is you're looking for. they also develop film on site, if you're not into the whole DIY Thing. I've had no trouble they're finding batteries for obscure cameras, film for almost any occasion, and the basics for developing my own film. Recommended for both newcomers and Veterans of film photography. Bring your wallet.
