When I wanted to put my first underwater camera system together, I didn't have a clue of what I needed. I had done some reading on the subject but not much, I called Bluewater Photo, and an associate named Mark Strickland answered that day. I told him what I was thinking and what I have been seeing on their website, he took his time explaining every aspect of all the equipment involved and made the whole process very easy to understand. We must have spent two hours on the phone talking about the camera system, he was always very patient and never made me feel rushed, that was back in 2014 and since then I had purchased another camera housing and equipment from him which reflects the photos I have added to this review, now its 2024 and I recently purchased a whole new mirrorless camera system housing and associated equipment and once again Mark was there to take me through the steps of a Mirrorless system with the same patience and good humor as if it was 2014 all over again.

Bluewater Photo has been very helpful in upgrading my underwater photo game. There online tutorials, along with Ikelite's, and their recommendations and fact sheets have been very helpful in improving the quality and consistency of my photos. FYI I am a snorkeler and basically shooting tropical reefs.

In any event, I would recommend them. If you are serious about underwater photography, this is the place to learn and buy.

I purchased an underwater camera system from them a few years ago, and they gave me sound advice. The ordering and delivery were carefree and my system arrived in pristine condition. It is exactly as they described it. The best thing about Bluewater is that there is always a knowledgeable and professional customer service specialist available to help you. You are not just an anonymous customer. The site also offers useful videos about how to handle O-rings and camera techniques. The employee will also take time to talk with you and find out about your underwater photography needs. These employees are adventure guides and many of them lead the travel and photography tours, so they are experts in their fields. Recently, I lost my small Nauticam port cover recently while diving and needed to order a replacement. I didn't have time to search for it on the website, but wanted to be sure to order the correct one. So I called the customer service line and was immediately connected with one of the adventure guides. Even though the port cover was an inexpensive piece of gear, I received the same quality customer service that I received when ordering my expensive underwater camera system. The employee even had time to chat a bit and make some recommendations for my upcoming dive trip to FL. I always feel like a valued customer with Bluewater and will continue to do business with them. I hope to join one of their underwater photography tours soon.

Fantastic customer service. I ordered from Canada and despite having an option in Canada that covers any customs costs, I have gone back to Bluewater a few times for their unbeatable service. Not only are they experts and help solve my camera newbie set up questions, but they were able to express ship me a cable I desperately needed 3 days before for a liveaboard trip. Will be using Bluewater for my camera/diving/travel needs going forward and highly recommend for anyone looking for camera equipment and advice.
