I needed a long telephoto lens and spending $2,400 for a single project didn’t make sense. Aperturent in Washington D.C. delivered the solution.

They made the rental process a breeze. The lens and accessories were in like new condition and functioned perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly and their office is conveniently located with ample parking options all around.

Their large selection of available equipment opens up a lot of options for future projects. Combined with their fair pricing, and the ease of the process, the whole experience could not have been better. I will not hesitate to use them again.

This is my second time renting there. It’s been a great experience. Will be coming back. Just note that if it’s your first time, you need to look for the Blake Building entrance the enter the lobby and say you are there for Aperturnt and the front desk lady will direct you to the floor you need to go.

I use aperturent almost weekly for my portrait needs. The staff is friendly and they fulfill orders quickly. I have never had an issue with lenses, and renting is great for folks starting out to practice many styles. I’ll always be a customer!

I'd give a zero but that's not an option. Charges us $25 ($26.50 with tax) for a screw that we didn't use. When we took the kit the prior day, they made us take photos of the kit, yet when it was returned, they told us they couldn't see the small ziplock bag that held all the screws in the image we took so we had to pay. Neither the "missing" screw nor the riser plate that is its proprietary mate work on the camera we used. There was no amount of looking or proving that it had been returned by whomever had used it before on their part, just the assumption that we didn't return something we didn't use. If you're planning to use the company (and I would advise against it), INSIST that they scan EVERYTHING BEFORE you take it and after you return it. I have no doubt that this has happened more than once. Quite honestly, $26.50 isn't going to break the bank, but it's the principle and the lack of scrutiny of their own practice.
