I stopped in to introduce myself to the owners, as I'm a professional studio photographer recently relocated to Germantown. They do passport photos (a specialty most studios like mine would rather refer out), and they process film which is becoming a lost art. I'll definitely use them for lab prints and refer restoration requests. Check them out!

If I could Give This PLACE ALLIED DIGITAL PHOTO IT WOULD BE A NEGATIVE RATING AND EXPERIENCE OVER ALL. NOT ONLY DID I WAIT A month on a 3 week stated time turn over it's now been 4 I've drive her to find that the pictures are trash they claim there wasn't enough light . I Begg to differ. MY FAMILY VACTION PICTURES HAVE BEEN RUIED. CLAIMS OF THERE NOT BEING ENOUGH LIGHT . WHEN INFACT ALL PHOTOS WHERE TAKEN IN LIGHT AREAS ALSO ITS UNDERWATER camera . WALMART SENDS YOU HERE DONT GO . FIND ANOTHER PLACE. Worst experience. Also The woman work is very passive aggressive. Don't even think about letting them touch your family photos . ?

Transfer your analog tapes before they go bad!

All of the tapes came through well, in high quality, and labeled based on dates and notes on the tapes. Andy takes pride in his work and takes his business/feedback to heart - I would return again if I needed their services.

More details...

Andy set expectations upfront for timing (it took a couple months to process our videos). The tapes were transferred with a lot of attention to detail (id's and notes to describe defects).

I really appreciated Andy taking the time to walk through the defects in two of the tapes, he attempted multiple different devices to determine root cause, and explained where they might have come from.

It takes a lot of courage to hand over irreplaceable home movies to a stranger, but it pays off. Allied converted my family 8mm movies from the 1950s to great video, ..better than the originals!

Recently started getting pictured printed here as opposed to chain locations and the difference is amazing! The pictures are beautiful, much more crisp and clear, the photo paper is much higher quality. They are incredibly helpful as well and a very quick turnaround time.
